Responsibilities:
- Organizes, files and retrieves project-related records.
- Maintains proper functions of laboratories.

Technical:
- Operates laboratory instrumentation/equipment; trains others for moderate–high complexity experiments; may serve as SME.
- Designs and executes experiments for cross-functional projects.
- Troubleshoots analytical methods, instrument operation, manufacturing, and experimental design.
- Performs drug substance, drug product intermediate, and drug product characterization.
- May oversee GMP clinical/development drug product batch manufacture.
- Develops and optimizes manufacturing processes.
- Collaborates with internal departments and external partners.
- Trains less experienced colleagues while maintaining quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assists in GMP documentation preparation/review.
- Summarizes results; presents conclusions in meetings.
- Authors reports and contributes to regulatory submissions (IND, IMPD, NDA, etc.).

Safety & Compliance:
- Follows EHS policies and FPD-specific safety protocols.
- Maintains compliance; achieves no violations/major observations during inspections.
- Completes required safety and GMP training by due date.
- Ensures SOPs followed and required information recorded.
- Documents results in electronic lab notebook.

Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years with BS OR 4+ years with MS OR 0+ years with PhD.

Preferred Requirements:
- 11+ years with BS OR 9+ years with MS OR 0+ years with PhD in related scientific discipline.
- Independently determines methods/techniques; may design new experiments.
- Works on complex problems; stays current with scientific literature.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary range: $146,540.00–$189,640.00; may include discretionary bonus, stock/long-term incentives, paid time off, and company-sponsored medical/dental/vision/life insurance.
