Role: Lilly Medicine Foundry Manufacturing Scientist/Engineer – Technical Operations (Small Molecule/Hybrid/Biologics).

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-floor shift support for technical, training, and process support; may execute production activities.
- Evaluate processes/protocols and real-time deviations; assess and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Execute equipment commissioning and qualification testing under C&Q guidance.
- Execute and document production via digital batch records and associated SOPs; follow cGLP/cGMP and quality/regulatory requirements.
- Document and assess operator improvement opportunities; coordinate corrective maintenance with area maintenance.
- Lead safety and quality investigations and author investigation reports.
- Support technology transfers; serve as a resource for operational improvement projects.
- Lead/coordinate changeover execution and new product introduction planning; oversee execution to meet timelines.
- Collaborate with PE, PTE, PRD, HSE, and QA to transfer and execute processes successfully.
- Represent operations in Process Hazard Review (PHR) and apply Health/Safety/Process Safety standards.

Basic Requirements:
- BS/AS in science/engineering/technical field OR HS diploma/GED + 5+ years pharmaceutical manufacturing experience (including operations, safety/quality incident investigations, SOP/procedure authoring, and PHRs).
- US authorization required; Lilly does not sponsor work authorization/visas.

Additional Preferences:
- Pharmaceutical R&D experience; GMP cleaning/changeover/maintenance support; project management training; leadership/influencing; start-up experience; FDA/cGMP knowledge; lean; troubleshooting; technical communication and math/formulas.

Other Information:
- On-site M–F; flexible for 24/7 needs; travel ~5%.
