Position Summary:
Bioanalytical Analyst for Elancoβs Large Molecule Assay team, executing ligand-binding assays (LBAs) to quantify monoclonal antibodies and other protein therapeutics in biological matrices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ligand-binding assays (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Gyros) to quantify monoclonal antibodies in biological fluids.
- Execute fit-for-purpose bioanalytical methods per internal SOPs and global regulatory guidelines; evaluate accuracy, precision, selectivity, sensitivity, and stability.
- Analyze preclinical and clinical study samples to deliver high-quality data.
- Manage critical reagent inventory (capture/detection antibodies, standards) to maintain long-term assay consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve assay technical issues.
- Support lab maintenance (buffer preparation; lab inventory management).
- Document procedures and results in an electronic lab notebook (ELN).
- Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. in Immunology, Biochemistry, Biology, or related scientific discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on quantitative ligand binding assay experience (e.g., spectrophotometer, MSD, Gyros, Quanterix).
- Experience with immunogenicity (Anti-Drug Antibody, ADA) assays.
- Familiarity with cell-based neutralizing antibody (NAb) assays.
- Data analysis skills; experience with SoftMax Pro and/or Benchling.
- Strong problem-solving and scientific rigor.
