Role: Computational biologist specializing in single-cell and perturbational genomics, contributing to Arc's Virtual Cell or Alzheimer's Disease Initiatives. Responsibilities: analyze large-scale single-cell, Perturb-seq, and multi-omic datasets; develop models to elucidate gene regulation, cellular states, and disease mechanisms; collaborate with experimental teams for hypothesis generation and validation; create analysis tools, dashboards, and data resources; mentor colleagues. Requirements: PhD in computational biology, genomics, systems biology, or related field; 0–4 years postdoctoral experience; proven expertise with single-cell RNA-seq, Perturb-seq, CRISPR screens, or microglia analysis; proficiency in Python, data workflows, and high-performance computing; strong biological intuition and communication skills; ability to work onsite at least 3 days/week. Preferred: background in cell identity, RNA biology, neurobiology, or complex disease genetics; familiarity with dimensionality reduction techniques; experience in collaborative research environments.
