Scientist, Clinical Services (on-site)

Role: Laboratory Animal Scientist supporting in vivo research in a biotech/pharma setting, focusing on rodents and non-rodents for discovery and basic science programs. Responsibilities include executing animal studies, providing veterinary and welfare support, and championing digital transformation by developing dashboards, managing data via cloud-based platforms, and automating data workflows. The role involves hands-on technical work—drug administration, blood/tissue collection, surgical procedures—alongside process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Requirements: Bachelor's in Animal Science, Biology, Biotechnology, or related; 1+ year in vivo lab experience; proficiency in animal handling, dosing, tissue collection, and biological therapeutics; experience with electronic lab notebooks (e.g., Benchling), data visualization (e.g., Power BI), and scripting for data automation. Preferred: veterinary tech certifications. High-value: in vivo studies, biologics/peptides, laboratory animal care, digital data stewardship, and process optimization. Location: fully onsite in West Point, PA, with no travel required.
