Job Responsibilities
- Ophthalmology/Retina related experience required.
- May have operational responsibilities for a single study or multiple studies (e.g., operational deliverables, clinical and ancillary supplies planning/tracking, lab specimen tracking, status update reports, study closeout activities).
- Track study timelines using project management tools.
- Share technical expertise with team members.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., study team, vendors, committees) to support clinical trial objectives.
Core Skills
- Working knowledge of clinical research regulatory requirements (e.g., GCP and ICH).
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with planning, time management, and prioritization.
- Principles of project planning and project management.
- Analytical skills to drive operational milestones.
- Proactive stakeholder interaction across department, division, and company.
- Problem solving, prioritization, conflict resolution, and critical thinking.
- Solid communication, writing, and presentation skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, etc.).
Education/Experience
- Bachelorโs degree +2 years in pharmaceutical/clinical drug development, project management, and/or medical field experience; or
- Masterโs degree +1 year in pharmaceutical/clinical drug development, project management, and/or medical field experience.
- Life sciences degree preferred.
