Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for route scouting and designing/implementing safe, efficient, robust chemical processes for synthesis of drug candidates, generating fundamental process knowledge, and scaling/transitioning processes to manufacturing.
- Design and execute experiments aligned with portfolio program strategy; analyze, compile, and share experimental data with project teams and management.
- Develop fundamental process knowledge to support transition from labs to clinical supply, regulatory filings, and manufacturing vendors; collaborate with Analytical Chemistry and engineering teams to build knowledge and controls for successful clinical material supply and characterization.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Ph.D. in organic chemistry (0–3 years related research experience) OR M.Sc. in organic chemistry (4–8 years related research experience).
- Strong background in synthetic organic chemistry theory and practice; excellent problem-solving; thorough understanding of synthetic methods and reaction mechanisms.
- Expertise in purification and characterization (Chromatography, NMR, MS, IR spectroscopy).
- Good oral and written communication; desire to work collaboratively.
