About The Role
Contribute to advancements of innovative assets from early development through commercialization by executing high-quality scientific studies and generating reliable, data-driven insights. Build foundational expertise in relationships between process and product quality and support critical project decisions through careful experimentation and analysis.

Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)
- Apply scientific/engineering principles to process development: definition, optimization, characterization, and validation
- Contribute scientific analysis to support development decisions (under guidance of senior staff)
- Support process scale-up and technology transfer
- Independently design and execute experiments aligned with project objectives
- Evaluate and implement improvements to enhance product quality and manufacturing consistency
- Identify process challenges and troubleshoot within assigned scope
- Support laboratory and pilot-scale operations (equipment configuration, maintenance, and operation)
- Procure, install, and maintain equipment and instrumentation
- Document R&D activities in accordance with quality standards
- Support contract manufacturing and external interactions as assigned
- Promote and ensure safe laboratory practices
- Provide input to CMC documentation sections as appropriate

Requirements
- BS/BA in relevant discipline + 2+ years pharmaceutical/process development experience (including API manufacturing) OR
- MS/MA in relevant discipline + some industry experience OR
- PhD in relevant discipline + some industry experience
- Working understanding of process development and scale-up
- cGMP familiarity preferred
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot lab/pilot-scale equipment
- Ability to interpret experimental data; detail oriented; organized; structured problem-solving
- Effective written/oral communication; analytical thinking; confidentiality

- Base salary range: $89,800.00–$123,000.00
