Role Summary

Scientist to join the Aging Research Group focused on extending human healthspan. You will conduct assays to support drug development of small molecule compounds that enhance cellular resilience throughout the aging process. This role involves collaborating in a dynamic, cross-functional team at the forefront of aging research and immunology.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement experiments to assess intervention of the cellular aging process, with an emphasis on signaling pathways
  • Contribute to in vivo experiments assessing the activity of small molecule compounds (preference for those with an understanding of PK/PD parameters)
  • Analyze and interpret complex experimental data, and present findings to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects from concept to pre-clinical development
  • Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies in the fields of immunology and aging

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 3 years post-graduation research experience, or a PhD with 0 years of experience
  • Required: Experience in designing, executing, and interpreting cell-based assays
  • Required: Experience with small molecules
  • Required: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships in a small team setting
  • Required: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of small molecule pharmacokinetics
