Scientist, Biologics Research

Role: Research Scientist focused on gene editing biologics development within Insmed’s early-stage pipeline. Responsibilities: collaborate in designing and screening novel gene editing therapies, develop cell-based assays, author technical documents, and communicate findings. Requirements: PhD in Life Sciences (conferred by September 2026), expertise in molecular biology (PCR, cloning, protein expression, mutagenesis), hands-on experience with cell culture, transfection, and assay development. Preferred: flow cytometry, NGS workflows, high throughput screening, protein purification. High-Value: biologics, gene editing therapies, early-stage research, in-person role at Bridgewater, NJ, minimal travel. Collaboration: cross-functional within research team. Work setup: full-time, in-office.
