- Independently designs and executes immunoassays (e.g., ELISA) based on provided protocols; troubleshoots assay-related problems and performs follow-up experiments; suggests protocol modifications or alternatives.
- Develops immunoassay methods; writes assay validation protocols independently for review.
- Multi-tasks and can work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Summarizes and presents results to supervisor in written and verbal reports or presentations.
- Performs validation experiments; summarizes results in tabular form; writes/reviews validation reports and procedure documents.
- Communicates effectively with supervisor and members of the Assay Development Group.

This Role May Be for You If You Have Experience:
- Operating laboratory instrumentation; may oversee instrument verifications and/or maintenance.
- Evaluating new technologies for immunoassay development.
- Maintaining GLP compliance for laboratory work and documentation related to assay validations.
- Maintaining cleanliness of work areas.
- Learning and complying with laboratory safety requirements.

The Role Requires:
- Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Biology or related field with 6+ years of experience.
- Hands-on knowledge in immunoassays using a variety of detection systems.
- Proven understanding of additional methodologies to measure proteins and immunogenicity.
- Experience in bioanalytical assay development (highly desirable).
