Responsibilities:
- Advance analytical development for cell therapy programs, primarily lentiviral vectors (LVVs).
- Strengthen existing and establish new biophysical methods to characterize LVVs.
- Plan and perform experiments; develop new assay protocols.
- Analyze, interpret, and present complex datasets to technical and cross-functional audiences.
- Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot challenges, align on priorities, and support program execution.
- Author and review technical documentation (assay protocols, method development reports, data summaries).
- Maintain complete, timely, compliant electronic lab notebook records; support instrument upkeep; independently troubleshoot equipment and assays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- 6–8+ years of proven experience with characterization and quantitative analysis of lentiviral vectors.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Biophysical characterization techniques for sizing/counting particles (e.g., DLS, MRPS, fluorescent labeling assays).
- Understanding of viral vector biology, design, process, and gene delivery mechanisms.
