Role Summary

Scientist--ADC Biology (Non-PhD) role focusing on the development of next-generation antibody-drug conjugates for cancer therapy, spanning early discovery to clinical development. Design and implement robust biological assays to evaluate payload chemotypes, identify susceptible cancer indications, and optimize pairing with tumor-associated antigens. Analyze and communicate experimental data to multidisciplinary teams and support regulatory submissions and clinical advancement.

Responsibilities

  • Apply cellular, proteomic, and molecular biology techniques to preclinical cancer biology research
  • Execute flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, cytotoxicity assays, reporter assays, ELISA, alpha-LISA, western blotting, WES, and in vitro PD assays
  • Investigate ADC targets, linker payloads, and novel mechanisms of action through complex assay development and optimization
  • Independently design, execute, analyze, and document key experiments to enable go/no-go decisions; present findings to diverse audiences
  • Provide leadership within technical area; may train others
  • Maintain rigorous experimental records using electronic laboratory notebooks

Qualifications

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Engineering, Immunology or related field with 6+ years of relevant industry ADC Biology or small molecule experience OR Master’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Required: Experience with tissue culture and diverse molecular biology techniques
  • Required: Experience with protein quantification methods (e.g., WES, western blotting)
  • Required: Proficiency in flow cytometry analysis
  • Required: Ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment; independence and teamwork
  • Required: Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organization and planning
  • Preferred: Knowledge of therapeutic antibodies, protein degraders, and/or ADCs
  • Preferred: Knowledge of epigenetics, signal transduction, and/or metastasis pathways
  • Preferred: Experience with cell-based assay development for screening; immunohistochemistry/immunofluorescence/imaging
  • Preferred: Experience with omics data analysis; software for data analysis
