Position Summary
- Respond to incoming technical inquiries and basic complaints by providing technical assistance on Protein Simple brand instrumentation, software, and applications, with a focus on first-class customer experience.
- Maintain technical resources and provide continual training to stay current on technical information for existing and new products.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Essential Functions
- Answer and document customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat; conduct video meetings (Teams/Zoom/Webex) as needed.
- Address inquiries on instrument/software operation, product selection, techniques/procedures; perform simple troubleshooting; initiate complaints and coordinate resolution.
- Document communications and resolutions in Salesforce (CRM).
- Communicate with Scientific Support, Customer Service, Field Service and Applications, and Sales regarding ongoing cases.
- Document recurring technical issues to support product quality and development.
- Support maintenance of technical resources, training materials, and FAQs.
- Provide Voice of Customer to Marketing and internal teams.
- Initiate replacement orders if required; stay aware of Field Notifications.
- Stay current by attending seminars, reading scientific literature, and using products in lab; follow training and SOPs.

Job Specifications
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, or equivalent; 0–2 years related/lab experience.
- Customer service or sales experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Typing: 40 wpm minimum (60+ wpm preferred).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multitask; strong verbal and written communication.

Knowledge/Skills
- Knowledge of related systems/processes/products/applications and company services.
- Ability to use computer applications for communication, documentation, data analysis, and support.
- Interpersonal relationship skills; problem solving/critical thinking.
- Verbal/written communication including technical writing and presentation.
- Ability to handle sensitive/proprietary information confidentially.
- Ability to plan/organize, multi-task, prioritize, and work independently or with a team.
- Adhere to daily login schedule for channel coverage; knowledge of safety and company rules.
- Availability during standard business hours (7:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M. Central Time).
