- Develop RESTful APIs/microservices for programmatic access to LIMS, ELNs, instruments, and data warehouses (Postgres/Redshift/Snowflake).
- Improve LIMS/adjacent systems for evolving scientific, security, and scalability needs.
- Prototype dashboards and workflow tools with bench scientists; validate with feedback.
- Hand off mature prototypes to Tech@Lilly Product Engineering for enterprise scaling (criteria, documentation standards, SLAs).
- Build lab automation integrations (equipment, scheduling systems, instrument data streams) with metadata and execution traceability.
- Develop robotic workflow control, instrument driver interfaces, real-time data capture, and reusable automation components.
- Support agentic lab interfacing between automation platforms and AI experimental planning.
- Build/operate cloud-native components (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerized workflows (Kubernetes/Docker), IaC, CI/CD, and orchestration (Prefect/Airflow/Nextflow); apply DevSecOps (security scanning, testing).
