Clinical Research and Development
Role: Provide scientific and strategic leadership in integrating AI/ML-enabled digital pathology within Takeda’s nonclinical research workflows. Responsibilities: serve as project pathology expert, support target validation and mechanism-of-action studies through pathology, pharmacology, and biomarker data interpretation, lead qualification of AI/ML digital pathology tools and endpoints, perform primary and peer reviews of animal tissues, author and review regulatory documents (e.g., IND, BLA), and represent Takeda in scientific forums. Requirements: DVM (or equivalent) and Ph.D., board certification (ACVP, ECVP, or JCVP), 10+ years pharma experience including project roles and due diligence; expertise in veterinary pathology, digital pathology platforms, and computational biology; strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skills.
