Scientific Director of Immunology

Role: Scientific Expert in Immunology with focus on Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), supporting competitive intelligence to guide portfolio, research, and business development strategies. Responsibilities: analyze therapeutic landscapes, monitor competitors, conduct strategic assessments, and develop insights on policy and healthcare trends; collaborate with discovery and clinical teams to inform internal programs and external opportunities; build internal SME networks; ensure ethical CI activities. Requirements: PhD with 8+ years or Master’s with 10+ years in biotech/pharma, with 3-5+ years in IBD, immuno-oncology, or immune-mediated diseases; deep understanding of immunology, IBD therapies (UC, Crohn’s), and drug development processes; strong stakeholder management and influence skills. Preferred: experience in clinical development and launch strategies. High-Value: focus on IBD (UC, Crohn’s), competitive intelligence, strategic analysis, hybrid work at US headquarters (NJ or PA), ~10% travel.
