Responsibilities:
- Lead/co-lead the strategic publication plan across indications for VS-7375, aligned with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs strategy.
- Lead discussions with external authors and internal collaborators to develop publication content for ongoing/planned studies.
- Write and edit publications (manuscripts, congress abstracts, slide presentations, posters); manage external agencies and freelancers.
- Lead/contribute to development of scientific platforms.
- Drive advisory committee/advisory board planning with Medical Affairs leadership and cross-functional partners.
- Develop content (including vendor oversight) to support advisory committees/boards; coordinate execution with Medical Affairs Operations.
- Assist development of training materials/resources (e.g., slide decks) for scientific exchange.
- Support congress coverage/CI activities (planning and session reports); review independent research proposals (e.g., ISTs) and lead review meetings.
- Partner with corporate communications/investor relations to ensure scientific accuracy of external messages.
- Ensure activities follow company policies, procedures, and good publication practices.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a scientific discipline; MS/MPH/PharmD or PhD preferred.
- 8+ years in pharma (Clinical Development, Medical Writing, or Medical Affairs), consulting, or medical communications; Medical Affairs/Medical Communications preferred.
- Oncology experience.
- Ability to critically appraise/apply scientific literature.
- Clear targeted communication to senior/executive audiences; effectively communicate complex medical/scientific information externally.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand oncology clinical development, study data, and outcomes measures.
- Familiarity with GPP/ICMJE and good publication practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Travel up to 20%.
