Role Summary

Associate Director of SC Planning Process Ownership leads implementation of transformational, cross-functional projects for Supply Chain Management. The initial focus is on leading a Jurisdictional Planning and Control (JP&C) program, with potential to shift to additional initiatives over time. Working with cross-functional stakeholders across the enterprise, this role develops integrated project plans to ensure deliverables meet objectives and budgets, forms and leads a cross-functional team, and communicates status, risks, and issues. The role also creates tools and processes to streamline project management, accountable for project development and timelines, and will develop an operational and forward-looking vision to identify roadblocks and drive process improvements. This role is Hybrid-Eligible or On-Site Eligible.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a 5 year JP&C roadmap that aligns with other SC planning and cross functional initiatives
  • Develops plans, budgets, goals, and logistics for projects, gaining alignment and consensus
  • May serve as Project Leader for multiple complex projects involving interaction with cross functional teams to transformational project objectives
  • Provides a clear picture of current pain points and their impact on Planning process. Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders to develop the future process state, maintaining clarity and alignment on overall benefits.
  • Partners with key stakeholders including SCM leadership, Supply Chain Planning, Quality, Regulatory, CMTO and DTE to align business needs, prioritization, and budget for transformational projects.
  • Conducts complex scenario planning to proactively provide analysis and recommendations on alternative plans, along with the associated assumptions and risks
  • Effectively summarizes key information such as program progress, timeline updates, and risk/opportunity assessments for periodic presentations to management
  • Proactively provides key project issues and status to senior management to ensure alignment
  • Compiles succinct reports and prepare minutes for select internal meetings; methodically tracks all action items, and finds new ways to stay abreast of these multi-dimensional tasks
  • Maintain frequent communication with the network of cross-functional internal and external stakeholders so that all parties are aware of current program status, issues, contingencies, and milestones
  • Responsible for Change Management in the business, including conducting Change Impact Assessments

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of SC planning processes and MPS/MRP systems
  • Strong understanding of the business, roles and responsibilities of key functions and how to best utilize key governance forums
  • Strong project management and change management skills
  • Strong ability to influence without authority
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high degree of effectiveness
  • High level understanding of GMP processes and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow up and anticipate challenges
  • Ability to communicate complex problems and necessary decision points both visually and verbally
  • Proven effective communication skills

Education

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a supply chain or business discipline
  • 7+ years of experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience in supply chain, business or relevant field
