SAP Inventory to Delivery Lead

Role: SAP Inventory-to-Delivery Lead responsible for designing, scaling, and supporting global logistics workflows within Moderna’s SAP S/4HANA environment. Key objectives include optimizing logistics execution, inventory management, cold chain distribution, and partner integrations across worldwide markets. Responsibilities encompass leading solution design for outbound delivery, warehouse, 3PL, transportation, and courier systems; collaborating with global stakeholders; ensuring GxP and regulatory compliance; and supporting SAP upgrades and future capabilities like SAP BTP, SAP Joule, and SAP Business AI. The role involves providing functional and technical leadership, troubleshooting complex integrations (EDI/IDoc), and mentoring team members. High-value specifics include expertise in SAP SD-LE, inventory, batch, and quality management, with experience supporting regulated distribution (e.g., cold chain logistics) in biotech or pharma sectors. The position requires extensive SAP logistics process knowledge, integration skills with external WMS and transportation platforms, and familiarity with validation activities. It demands strong stakeholder engagement across global supply chain teams and external partners, with a focus on scalable, compliant, and innovative logistics solutions.
