SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Technical Lead

Role: SAP BTP Technical Lead responsible for establishing and guiding Agilent's enterprise-scale SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Center of Excellence (COE). Objectives include defining technical standards, reference architectures, and governance to support SAP S/4HANA modernization, integrations, and digital initiatives. Responsibilities encompass setting platform strategy, architecting and leading development of extensions and integrations aligned with clean core principles, and supporting BTP adoption across teams. The role involves hands-on solution design using SAP services like Integration Suite, Extension Suite, HANA Cloud, and Event Mesh, with a focus on scalable, secure, and compliant architectures. It includes mentoring internal talent, establishing development standards, and evaluating emerging SAP capabilities such as AI and automation. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of SAP architecture experience, with 3+ years recent hands-on expertise in SAP BTP, particularly in enterprise integrations and extensions supporting S/4HANA transformations. High-value specifics include SAP-centric technologies, cloud-native design, and experience aiding large-scale SAP landscapes. The position reports to IT leadership, collaborates with enterprise architecture and platform teams, and involves 10% travel. Located on a hybrid schedule in Delaware or Colorado, it offers a full-time salary between $127,680 and $199,500 plus bonus and benefits.
