Operations
Shift hours are 8PM to 6AM Wednesday through Saturday.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for janitorial and environmental cleaning and sanitation in areas assigned.
- Assists operators with labor duties related to the cleaning process.
- Assembles and disassembles equipment and helps ensure efficient startups and shutdowns.
- Continuously looks for and helps implement improvements to process, productivity, quality, and to reduce costs.
- Performs other related duties specific to the department as assigned.
- Work overtime as required.
Physical/Environmental/Other Requirements (Essential Functions):
- Physical: sit, walk, pull/push, grasp, move items, feel with hands/fingers; occasionally stand/climb stairs/ladders/stoop-bend/squat/kneel/twist/reach/lift 50 lbs; rarely lift above shoulders/head 25 lbs.
- Environmental: exposure to loud noises/machinery and chemicals; occasionally exposure to hot conditions (90+°F).
- Other: see (vision), distinguish colors, hear; read/write in English; interpret information; basic math. May require simple problem solving to adjust process parameters; document corrections using cGMP-compliant practices.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency required.
- Basic math and reading comprehension; can read procedure documents and proofread alpha/numeric data.
- Ability to follow standard work and SOPs; multitask; maintain records.
- Effective communication in a work team; understanding of validation and cGMPs.
- Basic computer skills; ability to use computer-based training systems (may be required).
- Must meet locally defined training requirements.
- Previous work experience with chemicals is a plus.
