Sample Handling Assistant IIA

Role: Sample Handling Assistant II in laboratory operations, supporting sample management tasks such as labeling, receipt, inventory, storage, shipping, and disposal within a high-volume lab environment. Responsibilities: ensure sample integrity, accurately interpret and follow protocols, communicate discrepancies, maintain confidentiality, support process improvements, and adhere to safety and SOPs. Qualifications: high school diploma, 1+ year work experience; preferred associate's degree and previous Labcorp sample handling experience. HighValue: laboratory sample logistics, high-volume/production setting, environmental safety, and compliance. WorkSetup: Indianapolis, IN, Tuesday-Saturday 6am-2:30pm; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, and repetitive motions; weekend and holiday work may be required.
