Responsibilities:
- Understand, design, implement, demonstrate, and deploy Salesforce technology solutions using point-and-click features, Apex, Triggers, LWC, and REST/SOAP integrations.
- Analyze and resolve technical problems using analytical problem-solving methods.
- Perform estimation, design, and code reviews; identify gaps; recommend corrective actions.
- Create design models and best practices for vendors and other staff.
- Study Salesforce release notes and evaluate new features for system/business process incorporation.
- Conduct POCs for new features; document/demonstrate findings; build business use cases, cost estimates, and execution plans.
- Work autonomously with minimal direction from the supervisor.
- Construct technical specifications and technical design documents.
- Provide technical leadership; mentor and consult vendors/less experienced staff.
- Partner with Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Application Architects; maintain relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to corporate standards and policies (including GxP compliance, data security, and SDLC).
Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in a relevant field + at least 5 years of relevant experience OR Masterโs degree + at least 4 years.
- Proven experience in:
- Salesforce administration and development
- Designing and implementing new processes and facilitating user adoption
- Upstream/downstream impact analysis across applications/systems/processes
- Building custom apps with triggers/Apex/Aura/LWC/SOAP/REST, Flows, and Platform Events
- Writing SOQL/SOSL and SQL with an RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server/Oracle/DB2)
- Strong communication; escalates open issues to ensure execution success.
- Ability to learn new methods/technologies and act as a resource/mentor.
- Ability to organize/present objectives and progress; contribute to technical publications/presentations.
- Ability to obtain vendor estimates/quotes and contribute to time/cost estimates.
- Maintain relationships with affiliates/subsidiaries/vendors in line with AbbVie/vendor/purchasing practices.
- Produce and maintain required technical documentation.
