Role Summary
The Salesforce Administrator & Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist is a hybrid role responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting the organization’s Salesforce platform while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of CRM-related processes, integrations, and enhancements. This role combines hands-on system administration with structured QA testing to drive operational excellence, data integrity, and continuous improvement across commercial, operational, and cross-functional teams. This role bridges advanced analytics, field sales operations, and marketing strategy—working cross-functionally to integrate AI capabilities that deliver measurable commercial impact.
Responsibilities
- Salesforce Administration
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, record types, workflows, validation rules, and automations (Flows).
- Manage user accounts, profiles, roles, permission sets, and security controls.
- Maintain data integrity through routine audits, data cleansing, and deduplication.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure Salesforce best practices are followed.
- Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business needs.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and other business systems (e.g., marketing automation, ERP, customer service tools).
- Document system configurations, processes, and SOPs to support scalability and governance.
- Act as the main point of contact for Salesforce-related inquiries, tickets, and enhancement requests.
- Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, regression test scripts, and UAT processes for Salesforce changes, releases, and integrations.
- Identify defects, inconsistencies, and usability issues; log and track them through resolution.
- Validate data migrations, bulk updates, and workflow automation with accuracy and completeness.
- Partner with product owners, business stakeholders, and developers to refine requirements and ensure changes meet business needs.
- Participate in sprint ceremonies and release planning for ongoing CRM development cycles.
- Ensure all enhancements adhere to compliance, documentation, and change-management standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, testing coverage, tools, and documentation.
Qualifications
- Required: 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or similar role.
- Required: Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification strongly preferred.
- Required: Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Flows, and declarative automation tools.
- Required: Strong understanding of CRM workflows, sales processes, and lead/opportunity management.
- Required: Hands-on QA experience including test planning, functional testing, regression testing, and UAT coordination.
- Required: Proficiency with data management tools (Data Loader, Data Import Wizard).
- Required: Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Required: Excellent attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Required: Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, or custom applications.
- Preferred: Knowledge of testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar QA platforms.
- Preferred: Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Zapier).
- Preferred: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Preferred: Basic understanding of SOQL, HTML, or Apex (not required but a plus).
Additional Requirements
- This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or Holidays.
- At times may be required to work weekends/holidays.
- Physical Demands: Must possess ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time; lifting routine office supplies and use of standard office equipment may be required.
