Role Summary
The Sales Representative implements tactics defined by the Marketing and Sales plans for the Neurology Team. They deliver targeted sales presentations to a defined list of current and prospective customers within a specified territory, using approved marketing and selling materials. The role requires effective business planning, regular territory coverage, compliance with reporting requirements, and participation in training and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Achieve all product sales performance goals and objectives for the assigned territory.
- Distribute samples and record sample transactions in accordance with company policy and PDMA guidelines.
- Develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials.
- Maintain proficient knowledge of promoted product disease states and indications.
- Deliver proficient sales presentations to current and prospective customers with frequency based on call goals.
- Implement the selling model and process principles, including the DiSC profile when engaging with customers.
- Complete pre- and post-call analyses to positively impact customer interactions.
- Regularly review and analyze sales data and utilize developmental budget funds.
- Adhere to all compliance policies and guidelines.
- Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient territory coverage.
- Complete administrative reports and meet related deadlines.
- Safeguard and manage company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle, etc.).
- Enter calls into the Veeva System via iPad and check/respond to email daily.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelorβs Degree (BA/BS) in Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or a related field β Required.
- Experience: At least 3 years of pharmaceutical sales (or equivalent healthcare industry sales) β Required.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills β Advanced.
- Strong understanding of disease states and related treatments β Proficient.
- Proven track record of success in pharmaceutical or medical device sales β Advanced.

Education
