Experior Data Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Support Elanco sales to increase enrollment and electronic data readiness of feedlots for Experior.
- Identify new customers via strategic partnerships with feed mills and nutritionists; expand market penetration and data quality in existing customers.
- Facilitate enrollment of prospects via CRM and electronic documentation software (agreements/releases).
- Use CRM to enter call notes, manage contacts, and update accounts; coordinate across the organization.
- Coordinate producer meetings and build customer/channel relationships with sales and channel teams.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data Elanco collects; ensure prospects are comfortable with data sharing.
- Train customers on data submission practices and conduct follow-up training.
- Coordinate with sales representatives and Elanco Knowledge Solutions to track data submission.
- Plan and schedule customer appointments and required travel.
- Maintain working knowledge of the Elanco Beef portfolio.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business, or related.
- Cattle-feeding background; values capturing cattle performance data.
- CRM experience; comfortable documenting call notes, pre-call plans, and updating customer info.
- Strong cross-functional communication with external/internal stakeholders.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel); willingness to learn feedlot accounting and feed software.
- Self-starter; willing to learn sales and data best practices; uphold company values.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Animal health industry experience calling on customers, building relationships, and educating on a product portfolio.
- Working knowledge of feedlot accounting, animal health, and feed software.
Travel/Location:
- 75% travel within assigned territory; extensive overnight travel. Field-based: Lincoln, NE.
