Safety and Occupational Health Manager

Role: Safety & Occupational Health (S&OH) Manager leading site-wide EHS programs in a GMP manufacturing and cell therapy environment. Responsibilities: develop and execute risk assessment, ergonomics, hazard management, and compliance programs; support GMP clinical manufacturing, facilities, labs, and warehouse activities; lead incident investigations and corrective actions; ensure regulatory preparedness and facilitate audits; manage cross-functional EHS projects and deliver training; build relationships with internal stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field; minimum 5 years of EHS experience in biotech/pharma manufacturing, including laboratory and ergonomic assessments; proficiency with federal/state regulations (EPA, OSHA); strong project management and incident investigation skills. Preferred: professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CHMM. High-value: GMP biotech/cell therapy manufacturing, risk & ergonomic assessments, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, cross-functional collaboration, onsite day shift in NJ. Work setup: onsite, Monday-Friday, with extensive operational and regulatory engagement.
