Role: Root Cause Analysis Engineer focused on analytical testing and process improvement in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities: lead studies and validation of physical and analytical test methods, operating instruments like GC, MS, FTIR, DSC, DMA, TGA, and Rheometers; collaborate on identifying opportunities for process improvements; train manufacturing teams in forensic methodologies; present findings internally; and apply Lean Six Sigma principles to optimize lab operations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in science or engineering with at least 5 years of lab experience in private, public, government, or military sectors; proficiency in analytical techniques and statistical tools such as Gage R&R, ANOVA, FMEA, SPC, and regression analysis. Preferred: degrees in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science; experience in manufacturing environments; strong problem-solving, root cause analysis, and corrective action skills. High-Value: focus on physical and analytical chemistry, manufacturing forensics, and process validation; operating a broad range of instrumentation; potential up to 25% travel; work site locations include Maplewood, MN; Menomonie, WI; or Hutchinson, MN.
