Role Summary
Robotics Data Co-op for the Strategic Robotics R&D team in Santa Clara, CA. Join a multidisciplinary team to design and build a next-generation medical robotic platform and contribute to the data collection and processing pipeline, supporting clinical engineers during procedures. Responsibilities
- Implement remote data processing pipeline using Databricks and dashboards for data analysis.
- Develop processes for data uploading and processing procedural telemetry data.
- Work closely with other research scientists, robotics engineers, and software engineers to transfer solutions into Johnson & Johnson products and applications.
- Support clinical evaluations by maintaining hardware and software to ensure procedural completion.
Qualifications
- Required Skills: Proactive self-starter with experience working with physical and mechanical systems.
- Required Skills: Familiarity with software development and version control systems (Git, etc.).
- Required Skills: Familiarity with C++ and Python.
- Required Skills: Experience developing web-based applications for data processing and display.
- Preferred Skills: Experience with ROS 2, specifically message interfaces and rosbags.
Education
- Currently enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a bachelor's, graduate degree, or Ph.D. in software, mechatronics, robotics, or similar and returning to an academic program after the completion of the internship.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have work authorization in the United States at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment.
- Ability to relocate across the United States as required by the internship program.
