Role Summary

As the Robotics & Automation Technical Associate, you will be at the center of our operations in state-of-the-art laboratories. You will maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment in a regulated GxP setting in support of multiple vaccine programs and act as a technical contributor to assess tasks and apply your knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the laboratory and robotic equipment and perform tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures, including periodic maintenance (e.g., liquid handler fluid verification, calibration), microplate labeling, and maintenance of lab consumables.
  • Perform job responsibilities in compliance with SOPs that adhere to GxP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Document lab work using the laboratory information management system (LIMS) and/or electronic lab notebooks.
  • Stay current on all departmental and corporate training.
  • Adhere to schedule and perform other assigned activities.

Qualifications

  • Must Have: Associate degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Laboratory Science or a related field.
  • Must Have: Minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions while confident in problem solving.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy and Microsoft Windows/Office 365 experience.

Nice-To-Have

  • Experience working in a regulated CLIA or GxP laboratory setting.
  • Experience managing and calibrating equipment.

Additional Requirements

  • Physical/Mental Requirements: Work is primarily performed at the laboratory bench or desk using a computer; lifting loads generally not more than 20 pounds.
  • Non-standard Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., with schedule evaluated monthly.
