Role Summary
Clinical Research Nurse for weekend night shift (Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 6pm-6am CST) in Madison, WI. Supports healthy volunteer participants, reads clinical research protocols, and works in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment during early phase clinical trials.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings
- Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holters
- Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensure proper distribution
- Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants
- Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment
- Assist with screening procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient working and study environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associate degree/BS in nursing with current licensure in applicable state
- CPR/AED certified
- ACLS Certified
- 2-3 years nursing experience
- Additional experience may be substituted for education requirements
Skills
- Clinical judgement in providing high standard of care in clinical research
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Comfort with fast-paced, protocol-driven environments and electronic data capture
Education
- CPR/AED and ACLS certifications (listed above)

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to study protocols
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and travel/shift requirements as needed
