Risk Management Lead

Role: Risk Management Lead (RML) specializing in risk management and central monitoring within AbbVie's Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM) framework for global clinical trials. Responsibilities: lead adoption and integration of RBQM practices across study teams, develop risk strategies, facilitate Risk Assessment and Mitigation Planning (RAMP), guide teams in identifying critical risks and establishing controls, analyze quality metrics for continuous improvement, and support inspection readiness and regulatory compliance. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in life sciences or related field; 10+ years in clinical operations with proven expertise in risk management and RBQM; strong knowledge of risk methodologies, ICH/GCP standards, and clinical trial processes; excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder influence skills. Preferred: advanced degree and experience influencing cross-functional teams in a global, multi-jurisdictional environment. High-Value: expertise in risk-based quality management, clinical trial oversight, and regulatory compliance in complex, diverse studies.
