Territory Account Specialist (TAS) — field-based and remote role supporting key accounts in an assigned geography.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Create and execute a territory plan using insights/tactics to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Use knowledge of the market/competitive landscape to anticipate opportunities and respond with agility.
- Use territory data and market trends to uncover local insights and lead customer engagements (virtual or in person).
- Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders to address complex challenges across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and partner with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies for personalized outreach (virtual and face-to-face).
Essential Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (4-year).
- Relevant experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or complex sales with geographically dispersed teams (last 5 years); Associate-level candidates with limited sales experience encouraged.
- Proven high-performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with analytic/problem-solving skills and ethical leadership/compliance mindset.
- Reside within territory or within 50 miles of the border; travel 60–80%; valid driver’s license.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic areas/disease states, account management strategy, and new product launches.
- Patient services/market access/buy-and-bill/specialty pharmacy/reimbursement and/or medical calling.
Driving is essential.
Field roles require completing initial training (up to 8 hrs/day, 40 hrs/week home study).
Compensation/Benefits (US eligible employees):
