Territory Account Specialist (TAS) β field-based/remote supporting key accounts in an assigned geography.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve account challenges with effective, tailored solutions.
- Build a territory plan aligning priorities and tactics to drive product demand and improve patient outcomes.
- Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues to deliver access support.
- Anticipate opportunities and respond with agility using market/competitive/cross-functional knowledge.
- Use territory data and trends to generate local insights, support pull-through, and engage customers (virtual/in-person).
- Facilitate stakeholder planning sessions to solve complex issues across functions.
- Provide real-time access support and partner with Patient Specialty Services (PSS) for a seamless customer experience.
- Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach.
Essential requirements/qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (4-year).
- Experience in pharma/biotech/healthcare or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams (last 5 years). Associate level may apply with limited sales experience.
- Proven record of high performance selling to large accounts/key customers.
- Self-starter with strong analytic problem-solving and ethical/compliance mindset.
- Live within territory or within 50 miles of territory border; travel 60β80%; valid driverβs license.
- Driving is essential.
Desirable:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy & bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement and/or HCP medical calling.
