Key Responsibilities:
- Build institutional advocacy to drive formulary adoption and appropriate utilization of rheumatology brands.
- Create, organize, and execute strategic business plans for top priority key hospitals within designated rheumatology academic and government institutions.
- Collaborate with local partners to sustain institution-specific business plans aligned to local market dynamics.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of the disease area, market dynamics, competitors, and industry trends to identify and address opportunities.
- Deliver product/disease-state presentations and share approved clinical data; develop relationships with clinicians and decision-makers across hospitals.
- Facilitate cross-functional Area Team Meetings (ATMs) and develop/revise strategies to meet product access and sales targets.
- Assess customer needs and provide tailored insights to field and HQ teams; identify opportunities and implementation challenges.

Essential Requirements:
- Bachelorโ€™s degree.
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare (or similar) with geographically dispersed sales; including 2+ years in hospital sales managing sophisticated accounts (e.g., large academic centers) within the past 5 years.
- Strong therapeutic area/product knowledge track record; high community understanding.
- Robust business background; ability to collaborate cross-functionally in matrix environments.
- Reside within territory or within 100 miles of territory border; travel 60โ€“80%; valid driverโ€™s license.

Desirable Requirements:
- Experience across therapeutic groups/disease states, account strategy, and new product launches.
- Knowledge of patient services, market access, buy-and-bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, and/or medical calling on HCPs.

Driving: Essential function; fully valid/unrestricted driverโ€™s license required.

Field Training: Complete initial training, including home study and set daily/weekly time limits.

Compensation/Benefits (summary):
- Expected salary range: $145,600โ€“$270,400/year; performance-based cash incentive and possible annual equity.
