The Return Analyst validates return claims from assigned wholesalers, distributors, and retailers within strict timelines and contractual agreements. The role reviews and reconciles return deduction variances and analyzes/processes expired return credits accurately and timely. Determines whether to process or deny credit based on Amneal returns/pricing policies and customer-specific agreements.
Essential Functions:
- Validate customer return claims for accuracy and eligibility per corporate policy and customer contracts; process credits in the in-house returns system; prepare dispute documents; resolve third-party vendor transmission issues.
- Communicate payment and dispute information to customers; explain policy and interpret contract language; support dispute resolution and pay-back, contributing up to 10% of department revenue leakage savings targets.
- Perform ad-hoc analytics to investigate return discrepancies; identify root causes; review corrective actions with management; provide audit support and SOX control documentation.
- Reconcile customer debits vs. Amneal-issued credits; partner with A/R to resolve variances and troubleshoot; support collection of outstanding aged paybacks.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Cross-train within Trade Finance (e.g., rebates, contract administration) to support customer service during PTO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelorβs degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Required)
- 2+ years corporate financial experience
- 1+ year pharmaceutical experience
Compensation/Benefits (as stated):
- Base salary: $70,000β$85,000/year
- Short-term incentive/bonus potential within first 12 months
