Clinical Research and Development
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain instruments for hematology, clinical chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis
- Interpret and troubleshoot quality control results to ensure accurate test results
- Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration of laboratory instrumentation
- Follow GLP regulatory compliance requirements in accordance with CLIA and CLSI
- Use a validated computer system to receive/process orders and provide test results
- Participate in CAP proficiency surveys
- Develop and update SOPs
- Design and implement procedures for instrument qualification and method validation
- Complete mandatory internal training and comply with health and safety requirements
- Complete additional training for competency in new methods
- Perform standing/sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs (occasionally), pipetting, and general lab tasks

Qualifications:
- B.S./B.A. in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science (or related), with 3–5 years of relevant experience
- MLS (ASCP) or AMT certification (strongly preferred)

Preferred:
- 3+ years in a clinical pathology laboratory (pharmaceutical/CRO/hospital/diagnostic)
- Knowledge of laboratory informatics systems, flow cytometry, or plate-based assays
