Research Study Technician- Animal Operations

Role: Research Study Technician supporting early-stage drug research studies involving animal testing. Responsibilities: handle and restrain animals, perform dosing, administer test compounds, collect biological samples, conduct clinical observations, and ensure data collection complies with GLP and SOPs. Maintain animal welfare per AAALAC standards. Requirements: Bachelor's in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Zoology) or Associate degree with 6+ months of relevant animal care experience; flexibility for overtime; adherence to safety and ethical standards; strong attention to detail and communication skills. Preferred: 6+ months of animal care in research or farming, AALAS certification. High-Value: laboratory animal research, GLP compliance, early development (preclinical), animal husbandry, data collection, supporting regulatory standards. Work setup: onsite in Madison, WI, with some weekends; potential for relocation assistance.
