Essential Functions (Key Responsibilities)
- Conduct model-based analyses including population pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), and exposure-response modeling under senior guidance.
- Identify opportunities where modeling and simulation can advance understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, efficacy, and safety.
- Support development of MIDD strategies to optimize prospective studies and inform clinical development with clinical pharmacology, biostatistics, regulatory, and clinical development partners.
- Communicate pharmacometrics analysis results, conclusions, and assumptions via written reports and oral presentations.
- Stay current with scientific advancements and regulatory trends in clinical pharmacology/pharmacometrics and apply knowledge to drug development goals.
- Contribute to peer-reviewed publications and internal scientific communications.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Pharmacometrics, Clinical Pharmacology, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 0–2 years of related post-doctoral experience in pharmacometrics or clinical pharmacology (industry or academic).
- Hands-on experience with NONMEM and R.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Strong time management and ability to balance multiple tasks to meet program goals.
