Role: Research Scientist I or II in Oligonucleotide Chemistry, focused on synthesizing and analyzing therapeutic oligonucleotides for RNA-based medicines. Responsibilities: execute solid-phase synthesis using automated synthesizers, purify and characterize oligonucleotides via chromatography and mass spectrometry, develop and optimize synthesis and analytical methods, operate and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, and document experimental results. Requirements: BS/MS in Chemistry or related field; 1-3 years' laboratory experience with oligonucleotide synthesis, purification, and analysis; familiarity with RNA therapeutics; proficiency with automated synthesizers and analytical techniques. Preferred: experience supporting process development or technology innovation, strong communication skills. High-Value: involvement in RNA therapeutics, biologics, or nucleic acid modalities, with a focus on research-scale synthesis and analytical development. Work setup: based in Cambridge, USA, with no relocation support; collaboration within discovery and development teams.
