Research Nurse (RN or LPN) & Paramedics / Madison, WI (On-Site)

Role Summary

Research Nurse (RN or LPN) & Paramedics – on-site, Madison, WI. Office/clinic-based role interacting with healthy volunteers, reading clinical research protocols, and supporting Phase 1 trials across various therapeutic indications and study types. Full-time position with multiple shift options, including night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings
• Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holters
• Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensure proper distribution of those samples
• Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants
• Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment
• Assist with screening procedures as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working and study environment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA or CNA certification, preferred
• 0 ‚Äì 1 year of related experience
• Paramedics must be certified

• Clinical judgment and ability to provide high standard of care in clinical research
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Comfort with fast-paced, protocol-driven environments and electronic data capture

Additional Requirements

• Night and/or weekend shift availability as listed (12-hour and 8-hour night shifts) and on-site location in Madison, WI
• Physical ability to perform required tasks and lift up to 15‚Äì20 lbs; ability to work standing or seated as needed
