Role Summary
Research Nurse (RN or LPN) & Paramedics, on-site in Madison, WI. Full-time, office/clinic-based role interacting with healthy volunteer participants, reading clinical research protocols, and supporting a fast-paced, team-oriented environment across various therapeutic indications and study types in Phase 1 trials.
Responsibilities
- Accurately perform blood pressure, venipuncture, weights, pulse, respiratory rate, and temperature readings
- Preparation and accurate recording of ECGs/Holters
- Collection and processing of biological samples as specified in the protocol and ensure proper distribution
- Monitor meals to ensure dietary compliance by research participants
- Assist in the preparation of rooms and medical equipment
- Assist with screening procedures as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe and efficient working and study environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- EMT, Phlebotomy, CMA or CNA certification, preferred
- 0 – 1 year of related experience
- Paramedics must be certified
Skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict adherence to study protocols
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Comfort with technology and electronic data capture

Additional Requirements
- Night shift options available: 12-hour shifts 6 PM–6 AM, 8-hour shifts 11 PM–7 AM, and weekend options 12-hour 6 PM–6 AM
