Research Fellow

Role: Senior Technical Advisor to the Head of MSAT Synthetic Molecules, leading Takeda's synthetic molecules manufacturing science and technology strategy. Responsibilities: define and drive long-term manufacturing vision, lead development and implementation of innovative process solutions for APIs, solid oral, and sterile drug products; build external networks for technology scouting and strategic partnerships; guide cross-functional teams on complex projects, and conduct competitive intelligence and due diligence on emerging technologies. Requirements: PhD in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related field; 20+ years in pharma with 15+ years in synthetic molecules manufacturing management; deep expertise in API, solid oral, and sterile manufacturing processes; strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills; familiarity with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Agile; fluency in English; additional languages a plus.
