Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute scientific experimentation plans for analytical method development with analytical development team scientists.
- Perform data processing, evaluation, and interpretation of experimental data; draw conclusions from results.
- Perform analytical testing of finished products and development samples.
- Participate in analytical activities including method development, validation, and analytical studies.
- Present data at team and cross-functional levels.
- Provide lab support: routine maintenance of analytical instruments; order and maintain inventory of samples, reagents, and lab supplies.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- BS in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology (or relevant scientific field) with 6+ years relevant industrial/academic lab experience; OR Masterβs degree with 4+ years relevant lab experience.
- Ability to learn quickly, prioritize, multitask, think critically, and work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with HPLC-UV-MS, UV-Vis, ELISA, and CE-SDS.
- Working knowledge of good documentation practices.
Valuable Additional Experience:
- Knowledge of ICH Quality Guidelines (analytical method development/validation, impurities, stability).
- Knowledge of oligonucleotide, biochemistry, and enzyme science.
- Understanding of systematic study design and conception.
