Research Associate II, NGS

Role: Support Alltrna's Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) core within the Molecular Biology team by executing RNA-based NGS experiments, including library preparation, sequencing, quality control, and documentation. Responsibilities: independently operate automation platforms (KingFisher, Mantis, Biomek), evaluate QC metrics, troubleshoot deviations, maintain SOPs, and collaborate across teams to ensure sample and data integrity. Qualifications: BS/MS in biology, molecular biology, or related field; 2+ years (RA II) or 4+ years (Senior RA) of relevant experience; hands-on NGS experience including RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, and Illumina library prep. Preferred: experience with small RNAs and automation platforms. High-Value: supporting a biopharma platform focused on RNA therapeutics for genetic diseases, with emphasis on high-throughput, quality-driven NGS workflows. Work setup: not specified.
