Position: Research Associate (Bioanalytical–In Vitro DMPK)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bioanalytical support for in-house PK and non-GLP safety TK
- Conduct bioanalytical method development/qualification for drugs, metabolites, and biomarkers
- Independently develop LC-MS/MS methods to quantitate small molecules in in vitro and in vivo samples
- Perform in-vitro stability assays to understand drug metabolism
- Conduct metabolic identification (MetID) using LC-QTOF MS/MS (accurate mass, fragment interpretation, biotransformation pathway assignment)
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for PK/PD bioanalytical needs
- Manage CRO projects to deliver high-quality bioanalytical data on timelines
- Maintain accurate scientific electronic lab notebooks
Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
- Experience with H/UPLC and mass spectrometry
- Working knowledge of SCIEX LC-MS/MS for small-molecule quantitation
- PK analysis using Phoenix (or similar data management software)
- CRO management for outsourcing BA activities (preferred)
- Experience supporting PK, PK/PD, efficacy, distribution, metabolism, and non-GLP toxicology studies
- Troubleshooting scientific equipment; select/develop methods; analyze data; prepare reports
- Excellent oral and written communication
Minimum Requirements:
- BS or MS with >4 years’ experience in a discovery setting using LC-MS/MS in pharma/biotech
- Broad experience with small-molecule bioanalytical assay development/sample analysis across biological matrices
- Experience with AB SCIEX mass spectrometry software
- Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Ranges: RA II $92,891–$106,507; RA III $110,101–$124,079
