Role: Research Associate II supporting gene editing therapies at CRISPR Therapeutics, focusing on immunology and CAR T cell development. Responsibilities: isolate, activate, engineer, and expand primary human T cells; evaluate gene insertion, CAR expression/function, and cell phenotype; perform molecular biology workflows and ddPCR assays; conduct flow cytometry-based phenotyping and functional assays; support in-vivo studies via sample processing and assessment; ensure data quality and organization; analyze and present results. Requirements: BS/MS in Immunology, Biology, Bioengineering, or Genetics; 2-4+ years relevant research experience or 0-2+ with advanced degree; hands-on primary T cell culture, CAR T cell engineering, and flow cytometry expertise; molecular biology skills including cloning and PCR; strong organization and teamwork skills. Preferred: experience with gene editing in immune cells, in-vivo delivery methods like tLNP, ddPCR assay development, CAR design, and support for in-vivo immunophenotyping.
