Role: Research Associate II supporting molecular and biomarker research in a biopharma setting, with a focus on cancer and broader diseases. Responsibilities: perform technical procedures including tissue staining, macro-dissection, nucleic acid extraction, PCR, Next Generation Sequencing, protein analyses, cell culture, and assay development; maintain laboratory equipment and manage sample logistics; train staff on new technologies. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field with at least 2 years of lab experience or a Master's with 1 year; hands-on expertise in at least five of the specified molecular and protein techniques; ability to interpret assay data and troubleshoot experiments. Preferred: experience in experimental design, data analysis, and project ownership. High-value: molecular biology, biomarker discovery, assay development, cancer-related research, laboratory automation, and quality control; position involves some travel and flexible hours, with exposure to biohazards and chemicals. Collaboration: reports to senior R&D leadership, supports molecular technologists and lab operations.
