Research Associate I/II, Bioprocess Development

Role: Research Associate I/II supporting microbial fermentation process development for recombinant protein production. Objectives include building and scaling fermentation platforms through hands-on experimental execution. Responsibilities: operate, monitor, troubleshoot shake flask and bench-scale bioreactors; prepare media and feeds; perform analytical assays; ensure laboratory safety; collaborate with strain engineering, downstream, and analytical teams to support process scaling. Requirements: experience in microbial fermentation, microbiology, bioprocess development; proficiency with bench bioreactors, aseptic technique, and microbial culture handling; strong organizational and documentation skills; ability to troubleshoot experiments independently. Preferred: fed-batch fermentation experience, HPLC analysis, recombinant protein expression, process optimization support, data analysis skills.
